Today we have decided to tackle a route towards an European country full of contrasts, of natural wealth, of historical past and of modern present. We refer to Portugal, a nation that waits for us with the arms opened to enjoy a few wonderful holidays in couple, along with the friends or in family.
Undoubtedly, our first stop in Portugal must be his capital, Lisbon. It is important to emphasize that this monastery is provided with a chapel, a courtyard and a cloister. Nowadays this Gothic building is considered to be a patrimony of the humanity.
Now let's visit the Padrão two Descobrimentos or Monument to the Discoveries. This architectural monument 52 meters high, also byline of the decade is located in the quarter of Belem of 60's, and it was constructed owing to the commemoration of the Discovery of America.
If it is a question of cultural tourism, we can cheer up to visit the CCB or Center of Culture of Belem, where we will find permanent exhibitions of the local contemporary art. Likewise we can find works of big teachers of the art like Picasso, Dalí, Duchamp, Magritte and Andy Warhol.
